What is Financial Literacy Month?

For those who may be less familiar with it, Financial Literacy Month (FLM) is a national campaign led by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). Working to advance the goals of the National Financial Literacy Strategy 2021-2026, the annual initiative aims to make the financial ecosystem more accessible, inclusive, and effective for all Canadians.

During the month of November, the FCAC engages with Canadians and works together with organizations from the private, public, and non-profit sectors to help strengthen the financial literacy of Canadians and build their financial resilience. So, this month, keep an eye out for social media posts from the FCAC but also from CCS and other trusted financial organizations.
